When selling land, the following documents are required:
Proof of ownership (decision of the land commission, notary deed, division agreement, or will);
Current cadastral map of the property
Certificate of tax assessment.
Valid identity document.
A current cadastral map of the property can be issued by any Cadastre, Cartography, and Geodesy Service within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as by the relevant Municipal Agricultural Services. A certificate of tax assessment can be obtained from the relevant tax office at the property's location. In the event that the landowner has passed away, you will also need to provide a certificate of heirs. This document is issued by the municipality and/or the mayor's office where the deceased person's last registered address was.
What documents do I need if I want to sign a lease/rental agreement for the land?
To sign a lease/rental agreement, the following documents are required:
Proof of ownership (decision of the land commission, notary deed, division agreement or court decision on division, will, or other document proving ownership rights);
Current cadastral map of the property (only when signing a rental agreement). A property map can be issued by any Cadastre, Cartography, and Geodesy Service within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as by the relevant Municipal Agricultural Services;
If the landowner has passed away, you will also need to provide a certificate of heirs. This document is issued by the municipality and/or the mayor's office where the deceased person's last registered address was;
